Meet Bentley!

Bentley is a 6yo Border Collie who lives life in the fast lane, is obsessed with tennis balls, and who has carried our family through hell the last few years. 

On Thursday 21st Sep, Bentley was hit by a car. The driver saw him, slowed down, and then decided to speed up, hitting Bentley and then driving off.

Bentley’s spine was broken, and we were told we were going to lose him. However, over the next 48hrs, things changed.

His strong personality began to shine through, and the vets told us that Bentley would survive, as long as we were dedicated to helping him. He is going to require months of hydrotherapy and physiotherapy. His back legs are paralysed at the moment, but he has already made huge progress in the week since the accident. The prognosis is good if we can dedicate ourselves to his recovery.

Bentley has never given up on us, and we are not giving up on him. He has the strongest will to live and recover, and is already back to his cheeky, intelligent, inquisitive self.

I’m asking that if you have the heart to, to please donate towards us getting Bentley back on his feet.

Vet bills, hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, and all the supplies and medications needed to manage Bentley at home are costly and the costs are all out of pocket.

I am also currently unable to work as I have multiple fractures and am on bedrest for the foreseeable future.
