Nelsons Weekend Bootcamp for Maxis Mates
This October, in order to raise funds for Maxis Mates Dog Rescue and Rehoming Centre, I have set my Cavapoo Nelson the challenge of:
- The Muddy Dog Challenge
- Scafell Pike
- Helvelynn
The challenge will take place from the 2nd - 4th October.
We will start in Leeds on the 2nd October for the Muddy Dog Challenge, on the 3rd we will tackle Scafell Pike and then the 4th Helvelynn.
The Muddy Dog Challenge if you haven't already heard of it is organised Battersea Dogs and Cats home, it is similar to the 'Tough Mudder' or 'Total Warrior' some of you might have already done. Scafell Pike is the highest mountain in England and Helvelynn is a mountain within the Lake District north of Ambleside.
Maxis Mates is a local animal welfare charity, working to rescue and rehome abandoned or unwanted dogs. Since they were founded in 2012, they've successfully rehomed hundreds of dogs given them another chance of happiness from there previous life.
The money raised will be used for necessities our dogs are given without hesitation such as food, toys, beds, blankets, treats or heat lamps for the colder months.
Please help by donating, any support large or small is greatly appreciated and will go in a long way in ensuring each dog is given the very best throughout there stay with Maxis Mates.
Thank you!
