As many of you know, my mom had a stroke on September 15, 2024. As a result of the stroke, she is paralyzed on the left side of her body. We have encountered many obstacles with continuing her care. My mom is only 61 and does not qualify for Medicaid. We are currently working with an attorney to get her disability, but that is a long road. We need your help so we can continue to get her the rehabilitation she needs. She is currently in an assisted living facility but is being evicted on April 16, 2025. Her insurance will no longer cover the expenses. We have no way of caring for her at home. We are trying to raise enough funds to keep her in the facility until we can get SSI and try to qualify her for Medicaid. Anything helps and would be such a blessing to my mom’s rehabilitation.
