Donation protected
Hey Everybody, for those of you who dont know me I'm Jason Averill (Valerie's son). Kevin Patrick or KP as some of you knew him was my uncle.
Some of his very close friends and my family have been coordinating a surf paddle out to supplement his memorial service and life celebration. We have been asked by some of you if we are accepting any donations or if there's anything you can do to help.
We are ordering a bunch of real flower leis necklaces from Hawaii to be shipped for the paddle out and everyone who attends will be given one to wear during the paddle-out and then release into the ocean following the ceremony. Seeing as these must be real flowers and not plastic they are somewhat pricey and we just want to make sure we have enough because the celebration is expected to be rather large.
If we do superceed our goal, any additional funds will go towards the Surfrider Foundation in honor of KP.
