Saving HAYES
Donation protected
Please help MTPRC save HAYES, AGAIN! I am begging & pleading for this special boy!
Remember Hayes? Well, Hayes needs a *FOREVER HOME ASAP* with someone who will continue his recent training and give him the happy home he deserves!
We are asking for donors to raise funds for Hayes boarding for the training facility he is currently at. If he finds a home sooner, we will issue refunds!!!!
Hayes spent the past couple weeks with a highly recommended trainer and looks like his happy, healthy self again... And now he's ready for a forever home, FULLY TRAINED!
*Ideal home will have confident adults only and no other animals.
*Ideal person will be active and bring Hayes along for hikes or other outdoor activities. Hayes loves the water and needs exercise to keep his handsome figure!
**One of the adoption contract stipulations will be continuing Hayes' training at Global K9. We want the easiest transition for Hayes and his new family, and we know they're out there!**

Nashville, TN- Hayes is a young pit bull who has had a very hard life. I have seen this boy being fed leftover scraps from a dumpster consisting of rock hard rolls and nothing else. I've come to his former residence and learned that his ear was RIPPED OFF by a stray dog and was told he didn't need to see a vet and Neosporin would be fine... (I offered to transport and pay for vetting!) I've watched him be used for breeding over and over while chained to a crappy wooden dog house for the first couples years of his life without companionship, affection or attention. He deserves SO much better.
Hayes was sold on Craigslist by his former "owner" and then found stray by Metro Animal Control. This turned out to be a miracle, as it finally gave MTPRC the chance to safely rescue Hayes.
He was behavior tested and vetted at the shelter and pulled by a local rescue group East CAN with animal welfare group MTPRC. Hayes has already undergone full treatment for heartworms.
After several months of fosters and boarding while MTPRC searched for the perfect home for Hayes, we thought we hit the jackpot when one of the boarding facility employees offered to adopt Hayes. After an adoption application with references, meet & greet and home check were all complete, Hayes' adoption became official.
He was with his new family for 3 months until they unexpectedly returned him without any interest in helping him, even after we offered to personally pay for a trainer to help his developing anxiety. Hayes was 10 pounds heavier, had ear infections and scratches on his nose when returned. We fear he was crated more and more as his anxiety built. He was like a different dog. Sadly, this was not the right home for Hayes.
But now... Hayes is back to his goofy, smily self thanks to great trainers! He's ready for a forever home and to show off his new training! Please help Hayes by SHARING! Thank you!
