For those of you who know me, know that Bruce (My American Bulldog) means the world to me! My husband and I received an unplesant news today from the vets office.
It all started when I got a phone call from one of the girls who works at the vets office down in Doral, just telling me that there was a Dr. who specializes in Ultra sounds and wanted to try one of the new machines she had gotten and it had to be on a big size dog. The Dr. wanted to check the new technology wonders this machine had to offer! So when the Vet asked who should they call to try this ultra sound machine on, the young receptionist automatically thought of Bruce.
She was explaining to me that it was going to be a free Ultra Sound and that they thought Bruce would be a great candidate!! (Since he is calm and friendly)
I agreed to it, thinking to myself, what's the worse that can happen?
After a 2 hour wait! Bruce's vet, for 7 years finally stepped out and pulled me aside to inform me that they found two cysts on Bruce's spleen !!! I FROZE !!! she then went on and explained everything to me, which I could do here but it's too long and painful for me to replay that in my head again. What we do know is that he unfortunately needs surgery this Thurs to remove the cysts so that it doesnt spread, what we don't know is if the cysts are beningn or malignant! (which they are going to send out for a biopsy)
The vet insists on me doing the surgery asap , she said that if a tumor develops on the spleen, it may grow very slowly but sometimes the symptoms can become apparent very suddenly. If the spleen is ruptured by accident, or if a tumor bleeds heavily, the symptoms (on Bruce) will be Shock, Collapse and possibly Death!
I never asked nor did I think I would ever ask for help to fund me! but due to the circumstances I can not refuse nor have pride. This is MY DOG , MY LIFE!!!!!
I unfortunately have credit card expenses and also just started to pay for my online dog training which I have begun to pay. It's a little too much on us right now and that's why I am asking for your help. I know we are all in a tight spot, but im not asking for a high donation, I have pleanty of friends on here and I am sure if each one donates $10 bucks we can pay for Bruce's surgery!
Please this is a very DELICATE subject for me, I am still digesting the news and I am not taking it too well, so I ask to PLEASE, don't call me to talk about Bruce, If you dont have anything nice to say (facebook comments), DONT SAY ANYTHING AT ALL, and send positive vibes... I will keep all of you posted. I am already apologizing for being a little MIA (missing in action) I just don't want to talk about it! I KNOW THAT IN THE END ALL WILL BE FINE AND THAT GOD AND SAINT FRANCIS (PROTECTOR OF ANIMALS) IS BY MY SIDE , MY HUSBANDS SIDE AND ESPECIALLY BY BRUCE'S SIDE!

Para quem nao ler em english, desculpa se meu portuguese estar errado! eu estou pedindo ajuda no Go fund me pq infelizmente eu recebi uma pessima noticia. O meu cachorro que e o MUNDO pra mim vai ter que entra para serugia na quinta! Ele tem dois tumors em uma parte do corpo, que nao sei como escrever nem como chama em portuguese.
Eu nao estou muito bem, mais sei que Deus e Sao Fransisco de Asis estar ao nosso lado, se vc's poderem ajudar eu agradeco.
