The Harbour Island Sailing Club in Dunmore Town is a junior sailing association that has been teaching the art of sailing to the kids of Briland and North Eleuthera for almost twenty years. We are a non-profit, voluntarily-run group with a fleet of Optimists, Sunfish and Lasers that allow us to work with kids ranging from 7 to 18 years old, including several potential Olympians: Joshua Higgins is currently training and competing in the ILCA 7 Laser class in the hope of representing The Bahamas at the 2024 Olympics.
