Welcome to Erik’s Big Fight donation page! It is no surprise that so many people are reaching out to help this amazing family get through this unforeseen battle. Mike, Milana, Eddie, and of course Erik are humbled and grateful for all the thoughts and prayers they have received. Please keep those coming as they have the power to bring a smile in a time when it is desperately needed!
For those that may not know the details, in short, on July 28, Mike and Milana’s 13-year old son Erik, was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma cancer and began chemotherapy on July 31. This is a tough diagnosis, but not tougher than Erik!
As part of this fight, “Erik’s Storm Troopers” are gathering to pool our resources to help ease some of this tremendous burden that the family will be dealing with while Erik recovers. Of course our biggest burden will be financial. Even with great insurance, the other unexpected costs will add up incredibly fast. This fund will have an immediate and ongoing impact to assist in this area.
Our financial goal is great, but pales in comparison to the courage that Erik is displaying daily while facing this journey. He is in it this for long haul, and our prayer is that you will be as well!
No donation is too small or too large and every penny will directly help the family cover these unplanned expenses.
As mentioned, this will be a long battle so we are hoping that people will re-visit this page every month and continue supporting any way they can.
