Please help us raise funds for a very special guy- after a health emergency hit this family hard last week. It’s not their style to ask for handouts or help during tough times, but they’re really going to need some help soon. Last week Rusty was admitted to the ICU for complications-asymptomatic gallbladder infection, pnemonia, and Septic shock. Basically the odds were against him and he was not expected to make it through this. Just to put things into perspective on how critical he was and how close we got to losing him, the mortality rate for his condition was 90%. He was on three life saving measures-but by the grace of God, an amazing medical team at LRH, and his fight, the doctor came in with news on 9/30, in awe that “He is recovering with leaps and bounds. This is nothing less than a miracle.”

Rusty is still sedated and in very critical condition, but he is pulling through this! He has a long road of recovery ahead of him, and we don’t know what to expect at the moment, but he will most likely not be able to return to work. One thing I do know is certain-TO KNOW RUSTY IS TO LOVE HIM. He’s a great dude-he was the owner of Who’s Pizza and Who’s Cookin’ BBQ in Lakeland with a passion for good food and rock’n roll, and I thank God that he gets to keep on…his 2 daughters and wife have been by his side through this but they can’t carry the burden of expenses alone. I know that he has a ton of people who love him in this community and it would mean the world for your continued prayers and support for their family during this time.
