HELP ALYSON BEAT CANCER

I am starting this for our close friends Alyson Chappelle and Andrew Mckenzie. As we know they are a very private family, so posts like this are very hard.

After NYE 2021, Alyson began showing signs of jaundice. Shortly after, Alyson was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. This is absolutely devastating news for anyone, especially with two young children. Andrew and Alyson came to the tough decision to ask publicly for help, and get Alyson the best care possible.

They have two beautiful children at home, Colten 6, and Madelyn, 4, and have done everything possible to ensure life stays as normal as possible during this time. The kids struggle with why mommy needed surgery and is off work staying home, often ill and tired.

After surgery in Toronto, she was told the cancer was gone. Earlier this week, they received the news they dreaded most. The cancer has spread- to her liver. Alyson was told to spend as much time with family and friends as possible as this is not operable. Being the warrior Alyson is, with the full support of her husband Andrew, they decided to get a second opinion in Toronto and continue fighting.

At this time we are asking for your support. The family has only one income now; Andrew, who is self employed and working as much as possible while caring for the kids and his wife, Alyson. The bills are piling up, adding more stress to the situation. On top of that, Alyson will be flying to Toronto and anywhere else needed, to seek the proper treatment to save her life. Please consider donating anything you can to help relieve stress and help this beautiful family stay together and live as normal as possible.
