Luna’s Lymphoma Treatment
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Taylor Nycum, and I’m a university student working at the vet school. I’ve had my dog Luna since she was a puppy, and for the last six years, she’s been my constant companion. Luna is an Australian cattle dog, full of life and energy, with so many more adventures ahead of her.
Unfortunately, Luna has recently been diagnosed with lymphoma, a form of cancer that affects her immune system. While this diagnosis is devastating, the good news is that lymphoma is one of the most treatable forms of cancer in dogs. With early and consistent chemotherapy, many dogs can go into remission and live longer, fuller lives. Without treatment, however, the disease can progress quickly and significantly reduce her quality of life.
We’ve already begun chemotherapy, and the initial results give us hope. But the full treatment plan will cost around $6,500. I posted the estimates- the treatment is rotated each week for 19-25 weeks. This is a big expense, especially as a student, but I know it’s worth it for Luna. She still has so much love to give, and I want her to be there when I graduate next spring and to share one more Christmas filled with joy and togetherness.
Luna is my pride and joy, and I’m not ready to say goodbye. I’m doing everything I can to fight for her, but I need your help. Any contribution, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this message, can make a world of difference in helping Luna continue her fight.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting us during this difficult time and for giving Luna a chance to keep living the vibrant, happy life she deserves
