Helping Ourselves

On August 27, 2020, Southwest Louisiana and parts of Southeast Texas were affected by the catastrophic category 4 Hurricane Laura.

While many were able to evacuate, many were left to see and witness first hand the destruction Laura left. Now as the clouds have cleared, communities after communities are now dealing with the hardest process-- recovery. Many have lost homes, cars, and even loved ones.
