Abdul Aleem Farooqi

On the night of August 31st, our beloved brother, Abdul Aleem Farooqi, was brutally shot and killed during a senseless home invasion. This horrific act has shattered the lives of his wife, and their four young children ages 4 to 17 years old.

​Aleem was a humble man, a devoted husband, and a loving father. He poured his life into his family, and his greatest joy was being with his kids. He was the kind of person who made everyone around him feel safe, loved, and cared for. Now, in the blink of an eye, a pillar of his family and our community has been taken from us.

​No one should have to endure this kind of pain. We are starting this GoFundMe to help his family navigate the difficult road ahead. The funds will go directly to his wife to help with  immediate needs of the children, and most importantly, establish a foundation for their future—ensuring they have the opportunity for education that their father dreamed of.
