Support Justin's Journey to Recovery

We are not people that ask for help, but most of you know that Justin had a grand mal seizure on July 1st that resulted in our absolute shock that Justin had an 8cm tumor on the frontal lobe of his brain. He had no symptoms whatsoever, so this came as a complete shock to us. After being life-flighted to Tucson to St. Joseph’s Hospital and many tests, it was determined that he had a grade 2 meningioma tumor that had to be removed, which resulted in an 11-hour surgery. To our relief, it was benign. However, with the size of the tumor, it was determined that he now has to have radiation for 6 weeks, 5 days a week, Monday-Friday in Tucson. This is a 1.5-hour drive for us each way, 5 days a week for 6 weeks. We have determined it would be in our best interest to get an Airbnb and stay the 5 days a week in Tucson instead of commuting back and forth each day due to the cost of the stay and me taking leave without pay. This will take a toll on us. Justin is still going to try to work remotely, but I will have to take a leave of absence with no pay. We live on 2 paychecks. This was very hard to post and ask for help, but we are in need of any help anyone can offer. It’s been a stressful and trying time. Even though we have good insurance, we still have lots of bills coming in. Anyone who’s had a catastrophic event happen to them will understand the medical costs. Any help is appreciated. First and foremost, prayers are most appreciated, but if you could spare any amount to help us out, we would appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts! The prayers and well wishes have been overwhelming, and we can’t thank you enough for all the love you’ve shown us!!! We are so blessed to have family and friends who love us so much!!!!
