Help my wife in her fight against Stage 4 Cancer
Donation protected
Dear family, friends, and supporters of my wife Yvette,
This GoFundMe has been started from the loving care of Yvette’s daughters, Starr and Lunna, her loving husband Paul, and all our support systems that have helped us through these years.
Earlier this year, my wife was diagnosed with stage 3 lymphoma, a diagnosis that has deeply impacted our family. However, her battle with health challenges has been ongoing for several years, and through it all, she has shown incredible strength and resilience, facing each obstacle with unwavering determination and faith.
Despite enduring six grueling rounds of chemotherapy and spending more time in the hospital than at home throughout 2024, her UCLA doctors have recently informed us that they have exhausted all available treatment options here in the States. This news was devastating for our family, but my wife’s fighting spirit remains unbroken.
Even in the face of a diagnosis and conclusion from doctors here in the US that we weren’t hoping for, my wife has an unwavering determination to keep fighting; she has expressed a strong desire to seek treatment at a specialized clinic in Mexico. Unlike the prognosis at UCLA, the doctors in Mexico have given us hope, assuring us that they have promising treatment options for her.
Unfortunately, the costs of this treatment are significant and must be paid out-of-pocket. This is where we humbly ask for your help. Any donation, no matter the size, will be a tremendous blessing and will bring us one step closer to giving my wife the care she needs and the hope she deserves. This GoFundMe is being set up to help offset the costs that would need to be taken on by the rest of our family and give my wife a chance to focus purely on her health, not having to worry about any other factors except what is necessary for a strong recovery. If you have ever had a chance to meet my wife, you know she would never take the generosity of others for granted, and neither would we. Any support at any time would mean the absolute world to us as we continue to give her the care she deserves.
Your support and prayers mean the world to us. Together, we can help my wife continue her brave fight against lymphoma.
Thank you from the bottom of our core; any support, prayers, and sharing of this campaign is enough.
With love and many blessings,
The Engel Family
