Support Andrew's Healing Journey

If you know Andrew Berke, you know that he is a proud husband, a caring dad, son, and brother, and a loyal friend and firefighter who has dedicated his career to helping others. A time has now come where he could use some of the love and support that he frequently gives to others. Unbeknownst to many, Andrew has been battling a rare autoimmune disease that has been attacking parts of his digestive system for some time. Following many hospital stays, missed shifts at work, and doctors visits, on February 27th, 2025, Andrew received the gift of organ donation. Following a phone call that came much sooner than expected, Andrew and Rianne made the trip to Boston the night before to prepare for the crucial procedure that was necessary to give Andrew the best chance of returning to the normal lifestyle of someone his age. So far he is recovering very well in the ICU, but he has a long road ahead of him with a lengthy hospital stay and lots of follow up appointments in Boston.
