My mother and brother came to Atlanta for a doctor's appointments for my mother. My brother five days ago suddenly collapsed in the room. My mother is on disability and has been my whole life for back and hip issues. I'm 35 and became disabled at 24 with lupus. My brother suffered from epileptic seizures and heart issues. My brother was awaiting his disability. We have no money for my brother's funeral. My mother and i don't have the funds with being on disability.
We had no life insurance on my brother. My brother's death was unexpected. Though not in great health, no one saw this coming. He's been on life support the last five days, unable to breathe on his own and he was dead for 31 minutes before they got a pulse. The brain damage was so severe that the doctors said his skull cannot accommodate the swelling. There was nothing left that the doctors could do. We just finished saying our goodbyes and they have started taking him off of life support.
I am asking for prayers first and foremost for my family, and then I am asking for any help that anyone can give us for my brother's funeral. Any assistance would be a blessing and I thank you in advance. Have a blessed day and may God be with you and your families. Thank you.
