My heart is heavy as I write this. Our family is going through one of the most difficult times we’ve ever faced. My son, Aj, is currently in jail, and all I want is to bring him back home where he belongs — surrounded by his loved ones who care deeply for him.

This has been a tragic and painful situation for everyone involved, and while I cannot share every detail, I can tell you that Aj is more than the mistakes or the circumstances of this moment. He is a son, a brother, a friend, and a young man with so much more life ahead of him.
