This is probably my favorite picture of me with my two brothers. Tim is the one in the middle with his fist raised like Hell Yeah! I love all the great energy in this photo!
This has been a tough Covid year for all of us, but please, if you can find it in your heart to give this year, my family would be so very grateful.
My brother Tim is 59 years young. His life has been devoted to supporting his four children. In the Fall of this year he was having a hard time eating and experiencing some nausea. A couple of weeks ago he was diagnosed with Esophageal cancer, and just last week he learned that it has spread to his bones. After the holidays he will undergo treatment.
Covid has hit his family hard this year. Tim owns a small business delivering food to restaurants and other small businesses, and with Covid and all of the shut-downs, the year was already proving to be a challenge. His wife, Susan, who works for the MBTA in Boston driving a trolley, had to stop working last Spring because of her own underlying condition.
I am hoping to raise enough money to pay for some of their expenses for about 6 months while he undergoes his treatment. My hope is that Tim can focus all of his positive energy on healing and family time. Esophageal cancer is an especially tough cancer, and your help, no matter how small, would mean the world to my family.
Happy Holidays, Happy New Year, and God Bless!
