Hi!
We’re just a group of work friends who’ve decided to come together to raise some money for Angels Small Paws Dog Rescue (Charity No. 1171121)—a brilliant little charity that gives dogs a second chance when they’ve got nowhere else to go, especially those in pounds who are sadly running out of time.
To help out, we’ve set ourselves a challenge: walking from HMP Nottingham to HMP Leicester (about 33 miles!) in under 24 hours on 31st October 2025.
Now, we’re definitely not athletes (far from it!) and none of us have ever taken on anything like this before. But the rescue will always need OUR help.
So you may question… Why are we supporting this charity? Well… Between us, we’ve adopted four amazing dogs from Angels Small Paws—(Fat) Stan, Lyla (Loo), (Grumpy) Teddy and (Baby) Scout—so we’ve seen first-hand the difference this charity makes. (Photos attached!) Without Angels Small Paws we wouldn’t have our amazing fur-babies.
Every penny raised will go straight to the rescue to help with vet care, rehab, and finding loving forever homes for dogs who deserve so much better.
Any support, big or small, would mean the world—not just to us, but to the dogs whose lives it could save.
