Billy Keeler Cancer Battle Fund

The photo of Billy was taken just four short months ago, when his son Isaac was born, a beautiful and welcome surprise to a young couple who had thought their baby days were behind them.  Billy and his wife Tara have five beautiful children: Josh a strapping teenager now, Angela who left us after just one short year, Kaitlyn who is a spunky little girl surrounded by boys, Matthew who is Tara's nephew - they have raised Matthew since his mother passed away in her sleep when he was just a little guy.  Matthew has special needs and has flourished in their loving care.  Isaac who is just four months old and was born in an emergency c-section a week before the planned c-section, when Tara fell on the porch and badly broke her ankle and leg.  Now just a few months after that joyous day, Billy underwent emergency surgery to remove a mass in his large intestine, the surgeons ended up removing his entire colon and the news is stage four adenocarcinoma with metastasis.  Because of the surgery -- an 18 inch incision!! -- Billy cannot begin chemo for six weeks or so.  The good news is that the lymph nodes they checked were clear at this time, although the cancer had moved to two additional places in his colon.

Billy is the quiet one in the couple. The strong, calm, silenty type of man who works hard, loves fiercely and is always, always there for those around him.  If it is in your ability to do so, please help this young family, who are undoubtedly facing some rough days ahead and with Billy unable to work at the moment they can use all the prayers and little helps they can get.   Please shower this young family with love, prayers and if you are able financial assistance.  Thank you!
