I'm starting this fund raiser in order to save a life. A life that's to young to perish. A life that deserves to keep living. A life cherished by many.
My mother in law was diagnosed with uterine cancer a few weeks ago. She had a hysterectomy just last week where they ran some tests. Good news is she's in a stage that's curable provided she does the proper treatment. Bad news is she is responsible for 20% of the costs. Totaling close to $30k.
When discussing her diagnosis and options; it killed me inside to hear her say she's going to do nothing because she can't afford the treatment. Long story short, because of money she is choosing to let the cancer grow, spread, and slowly eat her alive!!!! My heart sank as I look at my wife's face when she is told this.
My mother in law is to young to be going through this. She is s good person that is adored by my daughters. My daughters are to close and to young to lose their grandma because we don't have enough money.
We come from a family that is always there for each other but is not wealthy in any means. Therefore I put my faith in the people of the world that can make a difference. A small donation by many that can literally save a life. A life that is deserving to live.
