Hello, My name is Alex.

I want to tell you about my mother in hopes that maybe you can help us. 
My mother, Brenda, is currently in a large amount of pain. she suffers from something called Lymphedema, which according to my understanding, causes a large amount of swelling. she experiences this in her legs. There is a simple at home way to ease the swelling, and therefore the pain. This is to elevate the legs. (this is supported by doctors instructions.) But, for us it isn't so simple. Due to my mothers weight, (which is contributed to by the swelling) moving is not easy. even as little as lifting her legs onto a foot stool. we have previously used a lift chair with a wooden frame which was passed onto us from a family friend. But, this chair has worn down over time and is no longer an option for her. Now we are hoping to get another lift chair with a metal frame. And, not to be cliche, but we need YOUR help to do this. We on our own could not afford a purchase like this. which is not ideal, as her previous only place of comfort was her lift chair. Each day that has gone by since we realized the previous chair will no longer support her the pain has gotten worse. So Please, Help us get a chair. We currently have one in mind we just need the funds.
