It is with a broken heart that I am organizing this fundraiser to cover the cost of my late mother’s funeral. Our beloved Sonya Martinez unexpectedly passed on 12/13/23 in a tragic car accident. Our sweet mommy was a wonderful sister, mother, friend, and ray of sunshine who touched the lives and hearts of those around her. She leaves behind my brothers Daniel, Xavier, and myself Briya Contreras; her brothers James, Richard and sister Marguerite Martinez; my grandmother, her mom Patricia Martinez, and countless number of friends and clients that loved her dearly.

We are all devastated by the unexpected loss of our mother Sonya and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give her the memorial she deserves to honor her beautiful memory and say our last goodbyes.

We ask that those who are able, to please consider donating as any amount will truly help our family during this nightmare. Any overage will go towards a headstone. Services to say final goodbyes and pay respects will be 12/30/23. A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 beginning at 11:00 a.m.
