Dear Family and Friends,

This is a tough letter to write. As many of you know, I have been fighting pancreatic cancer and some days are better that others. My current prognosis is one-two years to live, but I am hoping to beat the odds and have a longer time here on earth.

My attitude is positive, and I am grateful for everyone who has already reached out to me with words of encouragement and care.

I am writing today because I need support to help me finish my bucket list which is focused on spending time with family, kids, and grandkids. I want to create memories that last a lifetime. I can no longer work and rely on a monthly disability check that currently goes directly to keeping a roof over my head and some food on the table. I am trying to raise money for a motorhome so I can drive to Norman, Oklahoma and live part-time with my daughter and my four grandsons all under the age of eight. This is one of the biggest chunks of my bucket list is to be able to give my grandchildren memories of me. They live on a big farm in Oklahoma, so I would like to help my daughter with the kids while her husband goes and works 12-13 hours a day as electrician. I want the chance to really get to know them. Play board games. Go to the park. Watch silly shows repeatedly.

Since 2007 I have worked in the car business, and it is tough that my ability to work is limited now. I love the hustle and bustle of selling cars and working in that industry and it provided me with the chance to pay my child support for my five children. In my spare time, I liked to ride motorcycles and fix them up, go to the beach, and hang out with my dog Layla who loves long walks and chasing squirrels.

This is extremely hard for me to ask for money, but I do not know what else to do. I work some odd jobs, sell a car or two for individuals, but otherwise I am limited. Any amount would help. I need to raise about $10-15,000 to make this trip happen. Can you help me?
