Help Breanna Get Back on Her Feet!

Meet Breanna. Breanna is homeless at just 25 years old. Leading up to this she has had a very hard life. Both of her parents died of drug and alcohol related illneses when she was a young teenager Eventually she herself became addicted to drugs. Last January, a little over a year ago, Bre went into heart failure and was in a coma for 6 days from drug withdrawals. With very little chance of survival, a miracle from God woke her up and she has been clean and sober ever since. Breanna started with inpatient rehabilitation and now currently has been in Outpatient therapy multiple times a week. Eventually she would like to become a speaker at rehabs to help other addicts get clean.

But First, We as a Community need to Help Breanna get back on her feet! Unfortunately she ran out of funds and was forced to leave the hotel that shes been staying in for months.

Along with her recovery Breanna has also been facing some serious health conditions which has made it hard for her to work full time.

She has applied to Socials Services for foodstamps and general cash assistance as well as emergency housing. They told her they’ll be in touch and didn’t help her stay off the streets. She's also contacted 211 for emergency shelter help and was told that all the hotels that they work with are full and to keep calling back. She has no ID and no car. Her usual work is cleaning homes, but she has no car to get around to work. Thankfully through generous donations she has a hotel room until February 19th. Now the goal would be to look for more stable housing that is more affordable than $100 a night at a hotel room.
