My Story
Hi, my name is Lauren , and I’m fundraising to access private specialist treatment for severe Endometriosis and Adenomyosis — two debilitating conditions that have completely turned my life upside down for the past 13 years.
For years, I’ve lived with constant pelvic pain, deep stabbing aches on my lower right side, painful bloating, and heavy bleeding that leaves me weak, dizzy, and severely anemic needing iron infusions. I also struggle with painful periods, bladder discomfort, nausea, fatigue, and days where even walking or standing upright feels impossible.
I’ve had six surgeries already, as well as going through the chemical menopause 5 times, Mirena coil, but despite trying everything available through the NHS, the pain and symptoms always return. I spend so much of my life managing flare-ups, hospital visits, and recovery that it feels like my body never gets a break.
Endometriosis and adenomyosis don’t just affect my body — they affect my entire life: my ability to work, socialise, care for my family, be the mum I want to be for my little boy and grow my family further.
Why I’m Asking for Help
Private specialist care and excision surgery are my only real options left to get lasting relief, but the cost is far beyond what I can afford on my own. These treatments can cost thousands, but they offer something priceless — the chance to live without constant pain, to have a normal quality of life, and to hopefully grow my family by giving my son the sibling we have all dreamt of.
I want to be able to take him to the park, go swimming , play without wincing in pain, and be the active, happy mum he deserves. I want to give him a brother or sister, something this disease has made painfully uncertain for us.

Even if you can’t donate, sharing my story helps more than you know. From the bottom of my heart — thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting me through this journey. ❤️
