We've got nothing against trees — we love trees! — but, thanks to invasive English ivy and other factors, some of them pose a major threat to both people and headstones at East End. They're dead or dying or leaning dangerously. When the wind picks up, huge branches come crashing to the ground.
We've been lucky so far, but we didn't want to wait any longer to bring the most treacherous trees to the ground before a storm did it for us. This was work we couldn't do ourselves, so we hired professionals to do it for us.
And now we're bringing the tree guys back for another full day's work. Even with a nice discount, the price is steep for an all-volunteer nonprofit. We would be so grateful if you could chip in — $5, $10, $15 — to help us as we work to make East End a safer and more beautiful place.
Thank you!
