Randall Brown, at 17 yrs. old, is a friend, a son, brother, uncle, cousin, baseball player, musician, and the biggest Astro’s fan on the planet.
In July of 2014, Randall was involved in a swimming accident that left him fighting for his life. He was rushed by ambulance to Conroe Regional Hospital. They determined he needed more medical attention than they were able to provide. Then he was sent by Life Flight to Texas Children’s Hospital in downtown Houston, Texas. This was the beginning of Randall’s fight for life. It was determined that his neck was broken in three areas and that he would be left quadriplegic and needed to be on a respirator for the rest of his life. Randall fought with courage and honor against tremendous odds “just to survive”. He spent 6 months at TIRR Memorial Hermann doing extensive exhausting rehabilitation and regained the ability to breathe on his own as well as partial use of his arms.
Today, Randall gets around in his self-operated electric wheelchair. He goes to therapy twice a week to keep his leg muscles from atrophy. He uses his wrist weights to strengthen his biceps. We are a very strong and determined group of family and friends, with tremendous faith in God, as well as the progress of Medical Science. Randall, his family, friends with their love, faith, and hope that he will gain mobility in his body with Stem Cell, Exosome treatments. This science is proven to help spinal cord injury victims.
