My name is Alyse Leonard. I am making this go fund me account for my future Father- in- Law Jimmy May. As many of you know Jimmy has been racing for about 20 years. On Friday June 19, 2015 Jimmy rolled his race car at marshalltown speedway. Jimmy now has several injuries including 4 fractured vertebrae, 2 of which are in his neck. Due to his injuries Jimmy will be spending at least a week in the hospital and now has a halo to wear for at least 12 more weeks to help heal his neck injuries. After that he will have to wear a hard c- collar around his neck for about 4 months and will be limited to a desk job at most. As many of you also know Jimmy works at Firestone as a size changer. So due to his injuries Jimmy will not be able to return to work until he is 100% healed and cleared by all of his doctors. While he is off work and still in the hospital and on medical leave there will be a lot of medical bills that will be adding up in a hurry. So I am asking for any support even the smallest amount that you can donate so I can help Jimmy and his wife Elaine take a small amount of the worry and stress they are going through away.
