A Cancer-Free Christmas for Christopher

There are some people who have kindness and a giving nature beyond measure. My dear friend, S Christopher Harris, is just such a person. Christopher is also incredibly proud and hard-working. So, when he was recently diagnosed with rectal cancer, it was hard for him to ask for help.  But I have no problem asking on his behalf – he’d be the first to offer help to me, to his friends, even to strangers.
 
Christopher’s surgery to remove the tumor is scheduled the week of Christmas. I know, Merry Christmas, right? But he wants to do this as soon as possible so he can stop worrying and return to his normal life. So, let’s give Christopher the gift of breaking free from cancer this Christmas!
 
Christopher is going to face a mountain of expenses. During his recovery period from the surgery, he won’t be able to work. And as hard working as he is, his inability to work during his recovery will dramatically cut his income as he is an independent home health care provider. When he doesn’t work, he doesn’t earn.
 
Therefore, any monies we raise will help Christopher cover monthly expenses like rent, insurance and not-covered medical-related bills.  If Christopher can worry less about making ends meet, he can keep his focus on getting well, healed, and healthy!
