Hello, my name is Jonah Downey. About two years ago, my wife Haley and I were expecting our fourth child when one morning we awoke to our daughter Eleanor, who is 2 at this time, and she could no longer walk, talk, crawl, sign, feed herself, or sit up on her own. We took her to the hospital, and after an EEG, they found that her brain had shrunk, causing her to relapse. She has a gene 6 deletion that has not been recorded before, epilepsy, and ataxia. Doctors do not know how much she can recover, if she can at all. I just want to spend more time with her.
