Hi everyone,

We recently took Kobe to the doctor for a persistent cough, and in return we received some unexpected and heartbreaking news. Kobe has been diagnosed with a rare condition called Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA), a congenital heart defect where a vital blood vessel fails to close after birth. Because of this, his heart and left lung have become enlarged. This diagnosis came as a huge shock, as we never had any reason to be concerned about his heart before.

Kobe is only 2 years old and means the world to our family. His surgery is scheduled for October 8th, and as you can imagine, the cost of this life-saving procedure is substantial and without this procedure, he does not have much more time. We are reaching out to friends and family for help in raising the necessary funds to ensure Kobe gets the treatment he needs. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference and bring us closer to giving Kobe the long, healthy life he deserves.
