Hope's Heart

Hope is an adorable 8 week old corgi puppy that is in immediate need of a lifesaving heart operation. I happened on Hope by chance and agreed to take her home and figure out how to fund the care she requires. Hope has a congenital heart defect called a PDA that will lead to congestive heart failure if not corrected while she is still young. Today, we went to see the surgeon to review her case and we have a couple of options, both of which will cost in the neighborhood of $5,000. Below is a letter from her vet stating her diagnosis. Hope has an excellent prognosis for a long full life once the defect is corrected. Once Hope has had her surgery, my hope is to match her up with a deserving human companion with similar physical challenges at no cost to themselves.
