Our mother, Cynthia Laughlin, passed away on January 10, 2021, on her own mother’s birthday. Those of you who knew Cindy would know that she was always willing to give what she had to anyone, even if it meant giving you the last of what she had. Being a single mom to the three of us, she never had an abundance of funds, but she was always the first one there to offer a place to stay, or with food, clothing, even money, when anyone needed it. Some of you reading this probably relate, as you may have spent time at our childhood home when you needed a place to stay. Unfortunately, her diagnosis with MS in 2010 started her declining health. She was dealt with many medical obstacles, always with the hope of getting better, but that wasn’t meant to be. The last person she thought of was always herself. Unfortunately, she has no life insurance to help pay her funeral expenses. We’re asking if you could find it in your hearts to help us in paying for her final expenses, we would be truly appreciative. To someone who gave unselfishly to anyone in need her whole life, always “paying it forward,” maybe we can repay just a little to send her to her eternal home according to her wishes.
