A little angel, Adalynn Grace Mazurkewitz, was born on May 14th, 2014. From birth, this little girl's strength, spirit, and sparkle touched all who were blessed enough to know her. Adalynn was born with a rare disease called Encephalocraniocutaneous Lipomatosis (ECCL), which affects between 50 - 70 people worldwide. Luckily for Adalynn, she was born to two of the most positive, generous, and caring parents on the face of this planet. Paul and Jennifer Mazurkewitz put every ounce of energy into making sure every one of Adalynn's days were filled with joy, comfort, and support.
In 2015, little Adalynn received braces for her spine and legs from The Shriners Hospital for Children, free of charge. Although the services were free for the family, in a truly selfless act of kindness, Jen and Paul started a GoFundMe Campaign - not for themselves - but to benefit Shriners. Within a few short weeks, they had blown past their goal and delivered over $11,000 to Shriners (see that campaign here: https://www.gofundme.com/8m2gpme4). Again, all funds from that campaign went directly to Shriners.
Sweet, beautiful baby Adalynn earned her angel wings on February 25th, 2016. Although they would never ask for it, it's our turn now. As a community, as fellow people, we will wrap our arms around Adalynn's grieving family; her loving, young parents, Jen and Paul Mazurkewitz. Please show your support by helping them with medical expenses and arrangements and lift them up in your prayers. Anything helps. Thank you all so much for your love and support.
