Help Navajo & Hopi Families Recover and Rebuild
Our people are still here, and we remain ready to help at Yee Ha’ólníi Doo DBA Navajo & Hopi Families Covid-19 Relief Fund. We are an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit with over six years experience. Most notably we provided over $12 million dollars worth of pandemic relief to Navajo and Hopi families.
Communities on the Navajo and Hopi nations are experiencing severe flash flooding and river overflows that have damaged homes, disrupted essential services, and threatened the livelihoods of many across the region.
First responders have conducted numerous water and rooftop rescues, and residents remain under active flood warnings with additional rain forecasted. Estimated damage in New Mexico alone could reach $300 million.
These challenges affect the foundations of our communities: our homes, our health, our ability to provide for our families, and our connection to the land.
We are calling on our relatives, friends, and supporters to stand with us in providing much-needed relief to Navajo and Hopi community members.
Through this fundraising effort, we aim to help affected households access essential supplies, emergency resources, and recovery assistance.
We will prioritize elders and children, and the most vulnerable in our communities.
Any excess donations from this fundraiser will be dedicated to roof and home repairs. In the past two years our team successfully completed renovations of almost 150 homes and is ready to pivot to post-flood repairs if donations are forthcoming.
Every contribution helps move this work forward. Whether you give $5, $50, $100, or whatever you are able to share, your generosity will help us reach families in need. If you cannot donate, please share this campaign with your network to support our efforts.
Stand with Navajo and Hopi families as we recover, rebuild, and strengthen our communities together.
Our people are still here. Our teachings continue to guide us. And we are ready to do the work.
Ahéhee' and Askwali, thank you for standing with our communities.
