Hey y'all, my name is Ani, and I am Luka's partner. I wanted to create this fundraiser to help him raise money for his upcoming top surgery on September 22, 2022. This is something Luka has eagerly yearned for since he was in his early 20's, and it's finally becoming a reality after almost 20 years!! If you know Luka, then you know he is such a caring person who gives so much to the people around him and always goes out of his way to put a smile on others' faces. You might also know that Luka has faced a lot due to his wrist and arm surgeries over the past 3 years after a work injury, which has negatively impacted his ability to work and make the money necessary to help pay for the upcoming top surgery. While some costs are covered by insurance, there are still quite a few costs we need help paying for, like medical supplies and proper pillows to help during recovery. Because Luka will have to be off work for 6 weeks, this money would also help pay for rent, bills, groceries, and other general living costs during that time. From what Luka has shared with me, I know that he has a lot of people in his community that support him and want to see him thrive.
