Blessings to all. I'm Awilda Jackson, Mildred Garcia's eldest and only sister. I never thought I would find myself creating a GoFundMe. Especially not under these circumstances. However the financial strain of the passing of my dear sister has left us with no choice.
Those of you who knew Mildred knows how much she loved her family but most importantly how much she worshipped the Lord. It has always been her desire when this day would come to be sent home with a full Gospel celebration. Unfortunately, Mildred was not able to keep up with her Life Insurance due to her financial struggles and was too humble to ask anyone for help. This has left us all finiancially strapped. Transporation from CT where she lived, to her home church in New York and back to her home town in Passaic will be very costly. She was loved by so many and we would love to give everyone the chance to pay their respect.
Mildred deserves a Homegoing celebration. A celebration full of Praise and Worship and the Word of God. This was her wish. Please help me grant this wish. I'm sure she will be rejoicing from the heavens above. Any and all contributions will be used for all of her funeral expenses. No amount is too small. We will humbly and greatly appreciate your token of love for Mildred.
Thank you and continued blessings to you all.
