Libya Storm Daniel Emergency Appeal

Libyan Helping Hands is organizing this fundraiser to benefit Libyan Helping Hands.

In the early hours of Sunday 10th Sep 2023, eastern Libya was subjected to severe weather fluctuations as a result of the impact of Hurricane Daniel.

These weather fluctuations have led to negative impacts on infrastructure and property, causing significant damage and loss of Lives . The affected areas experienced sudden flood washing homes to the sea.

The scale and level of destruction is hard to comprehend. Local reports suggest that 25% of the city has been destroyed or severely damaged. Death toll now exceeds 3,500.

In these darkest hours, Libyan Helping Hands stands shoulder to shoulder with the people of Libya . Our dedicated teams are working tirelessly on the ground to provide essential aid to the communities affected by this heart-wrenching Storm .
