Medical care for the neighborhood street cat
Donation protected
Greetings. My sister and I reside in Brampton and recently took in a cat named Slim. He belonged to our neighbors, but they were unable to care for him due to health issues. On November 23, 2024, we noticed he was experiencing respiratory distress and rushed him to the emergency veterinary clinic on Williams Parkway and Hurontario. The veterinarian prescribed antibiotics and pain medication, and thankfully, Slim's condition has improved. However, he still requires further diagnosis, including an ultrasound. My sister, a single mother, has gone to great lengths to save Slim, even incurring debt in the process. She has received an additional quote of $1000, on top of existing expenses, for his continued care. Knowing her reluctance to ask for help, I kindly request any assistance or donations to ensure Slim receives the love and care he needs. We are asking our community for additional support.
