Hello, all. 

This is a very humbling and embarrassing experience for me. But several friends and family made the suggestion and I figured I’d give it a shot. 
As most of you know I was diagnosed with
Ulcerative Colitis almost a year ago. My health has been up and down but mostly down with a most recent visit to the hospital for anemia a month ago. Because of my condition my work has suffered. I’m in sales and I’m required to be on the road a lot which has been nearly impossible for me. I have to frequently use the bathroom and often times can not hold it for longer than a few seconds. It’s embarrassing to admit but I’ve lost control of my bowels more times than I can even count at this point. I recently applied for disability but was denied. This is a normal part of the process and I’ve reapplied but it can take several months for it to kick in. I’m currently looking for new work, without much luck, but I’m hoping I can find something indoors that’s low impact. I only sleep a few hours a night because of frequent trips to the bathroom and I’m utterly drained throughout the day due to lack of sleep and nutrient deficiency.

Anyway, I’m asking for just enough to pay for two months of rent and two car payments. My hopes are by then I’ll have procured a new job, and my disability will also have kicked in. I have a nine year old son that lives with me part time. Otherwise I wouldn’t be looking for this handout. 

I really appreciate anything you can give and I hope to pay it forward someday when my health returns.
