Angelica Miranda - Team USA

Hi, my name is Angelica, and I'm 16 years old. I have been riding horses since I was 8 years old. It all began as something fun and just an extracurricular activity that turned into competition in less than a year. It’s been an interesting RIDE, to say the least. New friends, numerous competitions, two team USA tryouts (2019 & 2022), disappointments, happy times, but most important I don’t stop learning from every one of these moments.

My parents make all this possible and support me. I’ve had the honor of meeting Coaches and Riders who have supported me and guided me and I am grateful for them.

I had the opportunity of being invited to Team USA tryouts in January after meeting all my requirements and I was selected to represent USA in my age category, along with 5 other talented young ladies. This was a goal I have been trying to accomplish and now that I have been selected, I am training hard to represent my country as best as I can. I will be traveling to Puerto Rico in July for 9 days to participate in the XIV Mundial de Equitación en Caballos de Paso.

I started this account to help my parents with some of the cost for my travel expense, lodging, and horse rental. If you can help with a small donation, I would greatly appreciate it.
