Xi’s Heart Journey - Prepping for the Unknown ❤️

Hi everyone,
This past New Year’s Eve, I experienced a very scary thing. I thought I was having stomach issues so I called out of work to get some rest but the pain would not go away and just got worse. Fast forward to 4am New Years Day, I headed to the emergency room because the pain was absolutely unbearable and I was getting scared; I did not know what to do and I have never felt this way before. When I got to the emergency room, they did an EKG and quickly transferred me to Cardio to do some more tests. I was confused, in pain and scared as a group of doctors and nurses ran all around me. They immediately started putting stickers all over me, sticking me with IV and asking all these questions. About 9 hours later, I was discharged with a heart monitor that needed to be worn for the next two weeks, a follow up appointment with Cardio and a diagnosis of “Complete Heart Block by Electrocardiogram”.
As of now, we aren’t sure if an underlying condition caused this or if it was a result of a heart attack. Either way, those are scary things to hear as a 26yo wife and mother.
It looks like a long road ahead but I’m still keeping my head high and vibes strong.
Knowledge is power so now that we are aware of the situation, we are wanting to prepare as much as possible since we do not know what the future will hold.
Heart Issues are usually very serious and can take up a lot of time, which means I might not be able to work as much as I did before. This makes me VERY nervous.
My family and I would greatly appreciate any help that you can give in preparation for this long journey. Thank you all in advance! ❤️
