Our friend and colleague here at North Shore-LIJ center for EMS has been battling a challenging illness. Like we often see,  this has created some financial challenges. 

Xiomara is a hard working single mom and is not accustomed to asking for help.  It took some time to convince her that she deserves some help. 

She is faced with another surgery and will be out of work for an uncertain amount of time.

Please help Xiomara and her son with this financial burden.
