My poor 73 yr old dad was assaulted by a white man when he was fishing at the floating dock in East Esplanade in Portland on 3/12. The guy just picked up a thick log and started beating him without saying a word, aiming for his head. My dad used his left arm to protect his head. The guy only stopped until the log was broken. My dad suffered head injuries with huge swollen on his left eye and completely broken left forearm that he just had surgery today to fix it back.

He is on a long way of recovery because of his age. Since so many people reach out to us to show support and ask if we have set up Gofundme, we here set it up in the hope to raise some fund to help with medical bills and related cost to help him recover. If we have extra from this funding we would like to donate to Asian non profit organization in Portland who can help raise awareness of anti-Asian hate crimes.
