Help Ximena’s Aneurysm Brain Surgery Recovery

On Friday the 1st of December Ximena suffered a ruptured aneurysm while attending her work Christmas party. She got herself to hospital after experiencing the worst headache she had ever had and was rushed through emergency for a CT scan. The scan revealed she had bleeding on the brain and would need brain surgery to make sure the aneurysm didn't bleed again.
At around 9am on Saturday the 2nd of December Ximena went into surgery for a procedure called endovascular coiling to hopefully prevent the aneurysm from bleeding again. Thankfully the procedure was a success and she was out of surgery within 4 hours.
During her recovery in hospital she has experienced severe head and spinal pain which has been slowly getting better over time. It is expected that she will continue to have pain after she is discharged for up to 9 months.
This fundraiser is to help Ximena to pay for her hospital bills and support her lengthy recovery with each donation being recognised with sincere appreciation. Let's get Ximena back on her feet!
El viernes 01 de diciembre Ximena sufrió la ruptura de un aneurisma en el cerebro cuando se encontraba en la fiesta de navidad de su trabajo.
Después de sentir un terrible dolor de cabeza, nunca antes experimentado, se dirigió de inmediato al hospital, derivando a emergencia por un scanner en su cabeza.
El resultado del scanner reveló que había sangrado en su cerebro y que requería cirugia para evitar que vuelva a ocurrir.
El domingo 2 de diciembre a las 09am, Ximena se sometio a un procedimiento llamado embolización endovascular de alrededor de cuatro horas que gracias a Dios resultó exitoso. Esto previene un nuevo sangramiento.
Posterior a la cirugía, Ximena ha sentido mucho dolor en su cabeza y espalda que con el pasar de los días, los dolores van disminuyendo.
Se espera que Xime siga sintiendo esos dolores por al menos 9 meses más.
El dinero que reunimos es para ayudar a Ximena a pagar las deudas del hospital y darle soporte económico durante su recuperación.
