Ximena Torres

We are saddened to announce the passing of a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother. On Sunday, October 9 2022, heaven gained an angel and the family lost a beautiful soul. Ximena Torres fought a 14 year hard battle against scleroderma, an autoimmune disease which affected her lungs and had progressed throughout the years. Ximena was a few steps away from being able to qualify for a lung transplant which was the only solution for a normal life, however, God chose her to be by his side.

Ximena was a kind spirit and a loving soul who always ensured the family came together and kept the bond strong. She was a single-mom who immigrated to this country from Ecuador in search of a better life. She continuously worked hard to ensure that her 3 children were college educated and set up for successful futures.

Sadly, she leaves behind her youngest son with whom she lived. We thank you for your support during this difficult time and kindly ask to consider donating, if able, to assist the family with the funeral costs.

We will continue to live through her, we ask you to keep her in your prayers and keep her spirit alive.
