Cari amici, sostenitori e sognatori,

Mi chiamo Bianca Mardare e sono qui per chiedervi di nuovo di realizzare l’impossibile. Dopo il successo di “CATALINA”, un progetto nato e realizzato grazie al sostegno della comunità e che parla della comunità stessa, mi ripresento di fronte a voi con il mio cortometraggio di tesi “XII”.

Questo è un cortometraggio realizzato da donne e parla di donne e libertà. Nei 3 anni all’interno della Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti di Milano ho sviluppato la capacità di rappresentare la moltitudine delle mie vite all’interno di un racconto.

È proprio questo che vuole fare XII: scomporre la vita e mostrare i suoi colori costituenti e contrastanti, la tradizione e il coraggio di intraprendere nuovi percorsi, la vita, la morte e la libertà di scelta.

Una volta ancora vi chiedo un sostegno, un aiuto per camminare su una strada poco percorsa e per realizzare qualcosa di nuovo che parli di noi.

Chiudete gli occhi e immaginate le voci delle nostre avi cantare in coro, riapriteli e immergetevi in un mondo sospeso nel tempo e nello spazio. Ecco a voi XII:

“Lei è stesa su un’amaca, le punte dei suoi capelli carezzano le foglie a terra e sul suo viso cascano le ombre del bosco. Al cadere di un insetto si risveglia e decide di proseguire il viaggio trascinandosi dietro un carrello con le ruote.
Le sue spalle sembrano alleggerirsi a ogni passo e dalla sua bocca escono frammenti di melodie che dedica ai dintorni.

La ragazza sembra conoscere il luogo selvaggio in cui si trova e in poco tempo raggiunge una piccola casa di pietra accanto alla quale resiste ancora una stalla ormai desolata.
La casa è tappezzata di disegni, simboli sacri e piante officinali essiccate meticolosamente. Lei qui vive frammentata, la realtà trasuda illusione e il bosco le sussurra i frammenti delle melodie incomplete.

Una figura materna e inquieta appare da lontano ed è lì, con lei, quando decide di togliersi la vita e conquistare la sua libertà. “

Dear friends, supporters, and dreamers,

My name is Bianca Mardare, and I am here once again to ask you to achieve the impossible. Following the success of the short film”CATALINA", a project born and realized thanks to the support of the community and which speaks about the community itself, I stand before you again with my thesis short film “XII."

This is a short film made by women and talks about women and freedom. Over the three years at the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan, I have developed the ability to represent the multitude of the lives within me through film.

This is precisely what XII aims to do: to break down life and show its constituent and contrasting colors, to show tradition and courage to choose new paths, life, death, and freedom of choice.

Once again, I ask for your support and help to walk on a less traveled path. I ask you to take our hand and create something new that speaks of us.

Close your eyes and imagine the voices of our ancestors singing in chorus, open them again and immerse yourself in a world suspended in time and space. Here is XII:

"She lies on a hammock, the tips of her hair caressing the leaves on the ground, and the shadows of the forest fall on her face. As an insect falls, she wakes up and decides to continue her journey, dragging a cart. Her shoulders seem to lighten with each step, and fragments of melodies come out of her mouth, dedicated to the surroundings. The girl seems to know the wild place she is in, and in no time, she reaches a small stone house next to which an abandoned stable still stands.
The house is adorned with drawings, sacred symbols, and meticulously dried medicinal plants. She lives here fragmented, reality oozes illusion, and the forest whispers to her the fragments of her incomplete melodies.
A maternal and restless figure appears in the distance, and she is there with her when she decides to take her own life and conquer her kind of freedom.”
