Hello everyone,

My name is Erica Hu, daughter of Xiao Fang Hu. On January 23rd, we got a call from a nurse at the hospital that my dad had suddenly lost his pulse. They had been performing CPR for almost an hour with no response. My dad had been residing in the hospital for a few months already due to a series of medical conditions.

My dad was an intelligent and hard-working man. He wasn't able to be there for many of our milestones due to his health. His remarkable mind and tenacious spirit were taken from us too early at 61 years old. He still had so much life to live and share with us. He leaves behind a wife and two daughters. We feel as though he hung on until his 61st birthday (2 days prior) to pass.

This unexpected tragedy has left us unprepared financially for the costs needed to give him a proper funeral and burial. We are graciously asking for any funds to help us. All remaining donations will go to the family. My family and I are grateful for all the support that comes our way.

We will always cherish his memory.
